We have been given a wonderful gift for the month of June. Two ladies from Barbardos heard about our church and have been following us on our web site and blog. They have taken four weeks of vacation to come to Knoxville on a mission trip to serve with Mosaic. Sophia and Starlene arrived on June 6th and have been serving in the inner city of Knoxville with us. Starlene is a singer and Sophia is a dancer. They will be leading us in worship each Sunday in June and will also be leading in other places.
There have been a multitude of opportunities and many potential partners for Mosaic. We are diligently seeking God for wisdom. We are also beginning a mid week prayer gathering in June. We will be meeting the second and fourth Wednesdays of the three summer months. We will begin on the 28th of June at Vine Middle School at 7:00pm. We know the only hope for people is the freedom and liberty that Jesus Christ can provide. The war is waging and our two offensive weapons are the word of God and prayer. We must engage the power of God to see the miracles of God. We are excited about praying for the community and interceding for others.
